To eat or to quench your thirst,
You never buy from one who's sellin'
Without adequately testing the melon first.

One should look at least four or five;
For if it's only one on which you're doting
Even a bargain can turn out to be a bad buy.

So before you choose the one for you
Whether it be melons or a mate,
Look around for a friend that's true,
And your heart will say who's first rate.

A little homework is what you require
To prepare for the final test;
Check the market and your heart's desire
To know that your choice was really the best.

Let your heart be your guide.
It can see things that are invisible to the eyes.
