Monkey Love
Love is blind to all imperfections. What blind crazy love is this,
Appearing in our sight?
How is it that a monkey can take in her offspring
Such a wonderful delight?Similarly, where Love's golden darts,
So cunningly are cast;
Ordinary people by such means
Appear extraordinary at last.If any imperfections appear,
They underfoot must lie.
But if any virtue there be,
Advance THAT to the skies!Thus even vices by love's charms can be cast
In a light where they become so endearing
As to form binding ties that last.
How? Well, they're unique, loveable and charming!Accentuate the positive,
Eliminate the negative
