The Sea Urchin

Wholesome fun, happiness won,
If a naughty game, tears and shame.

The sea urchin makes himself into a ball, for the mouse to deceive,
And makes his mouth into like a wide gaping hole to receive
The dancing mouse. Thus play you may, but of all holes beware,
For the mouse that creeps around without looking becomes easy fare.

Play honest sports; away with knavish tricks, lest you the feel the smart,
Pack ruffians hence, go crafty knaves and wenches, cold of heart,
Fair maidens, when you merry be, play then an honest game,
Beware of cunning holes and corners, to avoid snares, tears and shame.

Before throwing caution to the wind,
be aware of what you're getting into.
