Trofaiach Displaced Persons Camp, Austria

A DP camp in the Steiermark district, in the British occupied zone of Austria. Prior to its status as a DP camp it housed military troops. Trofaiach DP was opened in fall of 1945 with the ability to hold 4,000 individuals. It was located near an industrial community (Leoben).
